With over 27 years of teaching experience, and membership in the U.S. and British PGA, Donald has been recognized frequently for his outstanding teaching abilities. He was the recipient of the Southwest Section PGA's Teacher of the Year Award and the 2000 Horton Smith Award for Education. Also one of the "Top 100 Teachers in America" as rated by Golf Magazine and one of the "Best Teachers in Arizona" as rated by Golf Digest. Over the past 14 years he was vice president and director of instruction at John Jacobs' Golf Schools and was consultant to The Sam Snead Academy at The Greenbriar in West Virginia. Donald was recently voted Southwest section PGA Teacher of the Year for 2005.
